So I drug my dear husband to the movies yesterday to see the help. Everyone has such different schedules and lives that it's hard to get together and unfortunately when I have my mind made up about something, I get rather impatient. So here is the nitty gritty...
- It pretty much follows the book.
- The Chocolate Pie is even more horrific/hilarious on screen as in the novel.
- Viola Davis needs an award! Not an Oscar but a SAG award at least.
- They changed something that is VERY IMPORTANT in the book. It almost didn't make sense how they did it, but oh well (I won't say, in case you haven't seen it)
- Overall a good film. I'd see it again.
Okay...That is all I have to say about that.
